In my playthrough, right at the beginning, I would just heal, and pass turns to let the enemies get my stress up to 100% (aka Virtue Farming).

#Darkest dungeon farmstead plus
I completed it on Radiant difficulty using a save from a previous playthrough, so I wouldn't have to level up all the characters to level 6. The Ancestral Edition includes the Darkest Dungeon core game plus the following content packs: The Crimson Court, The Shieldbreaker and The Color of Madness. Use them at the beginning of the game when you don't have well-developed "regular" heroes - thanks to these mercenaries your party will be able to handle themselves in the Farmstead. The hardest trophy here is the 300 kills which you need to get in a single game of Farmstead. Don't send more than 1-2 mercenaries per mission because you will lose a lot of this precious resource.īesides the features listed above, there aren't many differences between mercenaries and regular heroes. Each one of them takes 10% from collected Shards, a new resource added to the game. They have a special Quirk that makes them available only during the missions that take place in the Farmstead - you can't use them during the "regular" missions. Also, let's not forget that longer dungeons give you the chance to come out with more and better.
